Who we are.
GIOKICK just a few miles from both Willenhall and Wednesfield town centres, is Willenhall's first and largest fully equipped, purpose built martial arts centre. A family run business, created by husband and wife team John and Kellie Zuccala. Who between them have a combined martial arts experience of 50+ years and have studied Kickboxing, Sankukai Karate and most recently Brazilian Jui-Jitsu.
Chief instructor is John Zuccala, who has achieved an ISKA British Champion title and is currently 4th Dan Black belt in Kickboxing, his primary style. John has studied many styles of martial arts, bringing him to receive his blue belt under professor Martin Cope of Gracie Barra Walsall and most recently his instructor certification in Keysi Fighting Method. To also win Bronze in the British BJJ No Gi Grappling Championships.
Kellie Zuccala having trained to black belt standard in both Sankukai Karate and Kickboxing. Also has an OCR Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, with valued experience working with children at primary school age.

Why we do it.
With extensive martial arts experience and over two decades of teaching in some of the West Midlands' most esteemed martial arts schools and academies, John Zuccala embarked on a journey to create his own martial arts center. Drawing from his background of training numerous English, British, European, and World Champions, John recognized a growing demand for Kickboxing in Willenhall.
Hailing from nearby Wednesfield and having spent most of their lives in the area, John and his wife, Kellie, saw an opportunity to serve the local community and surrounding areas with a unique purpose-built martial arts center.

John has over 30 years martial arts teaching and training experience. He has achieved an ISKA British Champion title and is currently 4th Dan Black belt in Kickboxing, his primary style. He also has gained a Blue belt in BJJ, under Gracie Barra and most recently achieved Instructor Certification in Keysi Fighting method. John has taught both British and World title holders.
Kellie

Lead Safeguarding Officer
Kellie has trained to 1st Dan Black belt in both Sankukai Karate and Kickboxing, from the age of 8 years old. Also has studied and completed an OCR Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, with the valued experience of working with children at primary school age.
Connor
Instructor
Connor has trained in both Kickboxing, MMA and boxing since the age of 16 years and is currently a 1st Dan Black Belt. Having fought in 4 amateur boxing fights, as well as a wealth of experience in kickboxing competitions, has now turned his passion into his job and career.
As well as this he is currently gaining valuable experience as a teacher at secondary school level.
Phoebe
Instructor
Phoebe has trained from a very young age in Kickboxing and is currently a 1st Dan Black belt. Phoebe has great martial arts experience, both in training and competitions.
She has previously studied a sports qualification in 6th form and is currently gaining valuable experience as a teaching assistant within primary and special needs schools.
Aine
Reception/Admin Assistant
Aine joined Giokick back in 2017, as our receptionist/administration support to the Giokick team. She is currently studying a degree in photography at University.
She is always at hand to help with any queries our students or parents may have.
Holly
Assistant Instructor
Holly joined Giokick in 2023, as our Assistant Instructor to the Giokick team. Having trained since a very young age, Holly has competed in many tournaments and has reached Junior Black belt grade. She is very passionate about the sport.
